Biography
Born and raised in the Dallas, Texas suburb of Coppell. My love of nature and traveling was instilled in me by my family’s annual tradition of camping road trips to Colorado. After graduating high school, I moved three hours south and lived for five years in Austin, Texas while attending The University of Texas. Hook ’em! After graduating with a Master’s in Marketing, I moved to work for a financial company in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’ve lived here now for two years and love the blend of urban and southern lifestyle.
2/2020: I recently visited my 34th and 35 states (Montana and Idaho) on a ski trip, which finally made me eligible for Associate membership. Currently 24, I have achieved this feat of 35 states before turning 25 — progress I’m quite proud of. I would LOVE to hit all 50 before turning 30 (how’d THAT look on a certificate??)
5/2020: Visited my 36th state (Arizona) on a cross-country road trip. Camped at Lake Powell and visited Horseshoe Bend and the Vermilion Cliffs before staying the week at Bryce Canyon, UT.
11/2020: I plan to visit the Dakotas and Nebraska (states 37-39).
I have also visited 7 countries (Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, and Costa Rica) and the US Virgin Islands. I also recently stood upon the southernmost rock of continental US land at the tip of Key West, Florida Keys.
