Memorable Travel Experience(s)

A road trip from Minneapolis to Washington D.C. when I moved with my family for a new job at American University. We stopped to see my sister-in-law in New Mexico, cousins in Colorado, a friend in Kansas and a lot of sites, like Devil's Peak! Altogether, on that single trip we spend at least one day in 21 different states - that trip was during the summer of 2018.
On another road trip we drove to Disney World and Universal Studios in 2016.
During the summer of 2007 I visited about ten universities that I was thinking of applying to for my PhD. I spent time in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and North Carolina.
I drove from Las Vegas to Sacramento to see a friend a few years ago too and I'll never forget the drive through the desert.
