Biography
After serving my country for 22 years in the U.S. Army, with combat tours in the Persian Gulf Storm/Shield, Afghanistan and Iraq campaigns respectfully, I honorably retired to enjoy the next chapter of my life. Having served several years in Europe, The Middle East, and the Far East, l promised myself that l would get out and explore the country l had sacrificed for and spent so many years abroad defending. My goal included traveling across America to see as much of it as possible. At one point l seriously contemplated walking across the country from coast to coast. Unfortunately due to disabling medical conditions that was no longer a journey l would be able to make on foot. After joining my MC, my love for motorcycling was reborn and l have since lived to ride and ride to live. Since my first solo cross country ride from Seattle, Washington to Savannah, Georgia some would say l was bitten by the bug of Long Distance Riding (LDR). Having completed numerous Iron Butt Association’s rides such as the Coast to Coast in under 50 hours ride, all 48 States in ten days, and the Canada Border to México Border in 24 hours ride. I have successfully ridden the SCMA’s USA Four Corners Ride five times and numerous other IBA Saddle Sores and Bun Burners rides. I was the sixth person to complete the Why, Arizona to Why Not, North Carolina in under 50 hours ride. In 2019, I won the Ride To Eat (RTE-X-USA), visiting over two hundred different locations in all 50 states and I am the 18th Person to enter the elite IBA 100,000 Miles in one year Club, 2019. I participated in the 2020 HoKa Hey Motorcycle Challenge finishing the 10K mile ride in ten days finishing in third place and qualifying as an Elite Finisher. My greatest solo ride of all was riding from Key West Florida up to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska also known as the Top Of The Word.
