Biography

Started in 1988 while best friend and I drove a VA to FL road trip on a whim. This was way before the days of Facebook/social media so we stopped at each state line and took a pic to prove to everyone we had done it. While on the trip I raised a beer, looked at my friend and exclaimed “I’m gonna hit all 50 states before I turn 50!” He laughed and said ‘Good luck with that’. Well….almost 30 years to the day later and 3 weeks before turning 50 I visited Hawaii and snagged my 50th state! Good times and feel so lucky to have been able to see this AMAZING country that we have! Next goal is 7 continents by 70….only three to go! 😉
