Biography
My name is R.M. Almonte. Born in New York to Dominican parents, I have spent years building my life as an author, publisher, and storyteller. From November 12, 2025 to May 23, 2026, I completed a fully documented 50-state book tour across the United States as part of the national campaign for my book, Fogs of Time. This journey was about more than travel — it was about proving what faith, discipline, sacrifice, and belief can accomplish. I went after this achievement to show that a dream can start from humble beginnings and still reach every corner of the country. Completing all 50 states was a once-in-a-lifetime journey and one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.

Memorable Travel Experience(s)
During my 50-state book tour, four of my most memorable travel experiences were in Orem and Murray, Utah; Las Cruces, New Mexico; Fairbanks, Alaska; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In Orem and Murray, we were told sci-fi would not sell in that market and that we would not sell out, but we proved the standard wrong by selling out at both events. In Las Cruces, New Mexico, I broke the Barnes & Noble store record for the most sales at a single book signing and set my personal best for books sold on the tour. In Fairbanks, Alaska, we held a signing in -28 degree weather, and a retired general told me I was a “real author” for coming out in the dead of winter. In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, we sold out within the first two hours of the event.
