Memorable Travel Experience(s)

In 1982. I hitchhiked around the country for nine months after college with a close friend, Hugh O'Neill. We traveled through 28 states.

Notable experiences:

- Spent a week partying in East Lansing, MI, with two Michigan State co-eds.
- My friend met a young lady in Seattle, WA, eventually married her, and they had two children together.
-Slept on The Rainbow Warrior, a famous ship owned by the environmental organization Greenpeace.
- Shared a bar with Clint Eastwood.
- Saw the Grand Canyon for the first time.

In 1995, I spent a fabulous week with my wife, Renee, on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
