Memorable Travel Experience(s)

One of our favorite road trips took us through the Jersey Shore, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia. We spent the day at the Jersey Shore walking the boardwalk, racing go-karts, playing arcade games, and enjoying sandwiches from Louie’s. In Atlantic City, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino while the SAG-AFTRA strike filled the streets with lively protesters. We hit a lucky streak on Wheel of Fortune, then found credits on a roulette machine and won enough to cover breakfast for two! Before leaving, we snapped a photo at Spencer’s Gifts headquarters. In Philadelphia, my husband ran up the famous “Rocky Steps.” We hoped to try Jim’s Steaks, but it was still closed after the South Street fire, so we went to Geno’s instead. Cheesesteaks made the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip!
