Memorable Travel Experience(s)

I’m a military kid from the Virginia coast and never ventured west of West Virginia growing up, so traveling west for the first time when I was 21 and moving to my first military duty station was very memorable, especially driving through Colorado and the deserts of Utah. Also driving that same year from Utah to Texas for training, driving through a whiteout blizzard in Wyoming on October 1st and driving near the Grand Canyon and through Native American reservations for the very first time. Many cool experiences since then as an adult and parent. I love talking every bit of this great country in on road trips.
