Biography
Today, April 16th 2019, I put a foot at Anchorage, AK accomplishing the all 50 states. I’m from Argentina and, as far as I could research on your site, I’m the first foreign latin american in completing the whole 50. There is a member from Puerto Rico, which of course is also considered a latin american, but he is not a foreign one. A Puerto Rican is an american citizen. Foreigns have several hurdles while visiting the USA such as Customs and Border Controls, Traveling Visas or Expensive International Air Tickets.
I am 43 years old and this journey started in 1984 with my first trip to California and Nevada (9 years old). The whole trip is detailed in my drive here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GnFdr0-GWh9La8Hre7-EFrwLSL_-8e3qZs8n8VDl8C4
Besides this club requires stepping in the state soil and breathe the air, I also added that I must have been at least 1 hour in each state (Of course, in the state ground and outside the airport).
The US is an amazing country with amazing people. I can assure I had a great time accomplishing it and visiting your great land. This journey doesn’t stop here. I will continue traveling along your great country. I hope I could be accepted as a member of your club. It will be an honor for me.
Regards,
Fernando Alonso
