Memorable Travel Experience(s)

I rode the Adventure Cycling Association's TransAmerica Route across the US (my favorite route). I also rode their Pacific Coast route, Route 66 route, Lewis & Clark route, and Northern Tier route. I rode half of the East Coast route and the Underground Railroad route. Arkansas was the last non-cycling state I visited initially but visiting all 50 states on a bicycle was by far much more enjoyable and memorable. Seeing the US at about 12 mph through the small towns and visiting with these Americans who make up our country was the best way to see the USA.
