> Sandboarding on the dunes at Great Sand Dunes National Park and climbing to the top of the tallest dune.
> Cruising on the many beautiful mountain routes the country has to offer, namely: The Blue Ridge Mountains, Pikes Peak, Hurricane Ridge, Snoqualmie Pass, Going-to-the-Sun Road, Jemez Mountains, and the Palms to Pines Byway. Special attention to the Mount Lemmon Sky Island Byway.
> Accidentally stumbled upon a Soapbox Festival/Race in Ferndale CA. The strangest and most unexpected thing that has ever happened. One of those "if cameras didn't exist, no one would believe me" situations.
> Seeing the VLA after a couple of days of trudging through New Mexico in record-breaking heat.
