Top 3 Memorable Travel Experiences

Visiting the presidential heads in Williamsburg, VA — I had never seen anything like it. It felt even more striking than Mount Rushmore to see life-sized heads of so many presidents all in one place, and to be able to roam around them like a kid.

A West Coast bus trip with my husband — We traveled through several states, including Arizona, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. It was my first real taste of the country’s national parks, from Grand Teton to Yellowstone, along with incredible natural wonders like Antelope Canyon.

The islands of Ohio — This experience felt completely unexpected. I hadn’t even heard about them until I was attending a nearby conference. It felt like discovering a hidden gem, and I fully leaned into it—enjoying wineries, a trolley tour, and visiting a national monument.
