Memorable Travel Experience(s)

A lot of my travel was arranged around concerts or sporting events. It's been awesome visiting states for some of their largest events including Caitlin Clark's senior night game in Iowa, NFL Draft in Cleveland, Ohio, and Indy 500 in Indiana post covid. One of the states that surprised me was South Carolina, particularly the city of Charleston. I love the historical town with the palm trees and discovered my favorite seafood restaurant. My dog also tagged along on a few road trips to South Dakota and Oklahoma. Prior to Hawaii, I traveled to Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire for a week during the fall. This is one of those trips that I will highly recommend everyone to take for scenic drives and adventure. Overall, I'm glad I left Hawaii as my last state to celebrate my accomplishment. My friend and I attended a luau, and our waiter brought me a dessert that said "Happy 50th State!" That was so sweet and unexpected, but a great reminder that I did it!
