Memorable Travel Experience(s)
#1 - The Greyhound cross country bus ride with my family, from the East Coast to the West coast, was the beginning of my all fifty states goal. I was 12 years old and hit 12 states. I was hooked!
#2 - Alaska - Simply breathtaking! Rode the train to Seward, loved the wildlife, the glaciers, the mountains and the best seafood I've ever had! The Alaskan Native Heritage Center is a must!
#3 - Louisiana - I spent half a day in Armstrong Park and loved everything about MARDIS GRAS (of course)!
#4 - Washington DC - I hadn't been to see the iconic monuments since my 5th Grade class trip. In 2023 I revisited all the ones that I remembered and some that were erected since that time. I got in 19,000 plus steps!
