Congratulations to Peter Cowley for achieving the incredible milestone of visiting all 50! And all the way from New Zealand!
Peter was planning to travel the USA as a tourist in 1998, when a workmate (Blondie) suggested he look into truck driving as a way to see the country and earn good money too. He took his friend's advice and drove a Peterbilt Truck for two years from May 1998 to April 2000 and visited a majority of the US.
In 2013, Peter and his friend Goose took a trip to the USA, and part of that trip was to make sure they visited the final 6 of the 48 contiguous US states. He wrapped up his 50-state journey with visits to Hawaii and Alaska, accompanied by his wife Tracey.
What an amazing and resourceful way to see the USA!
