Biography

I grew up on a small farm in Indiana. My father encouraged my love for travel. Each year for vacation without any set plans we would load into our Chevy station wagon- Dad, Mom, and all 6 kids and we would head in a direction. One year we would go WEST and see the fascinating sights until we were tired and ready to head back home. The next year it would be EAST, then SOUTH, then NORTH.

As an adult I have traveled with the military, for work, and for pleasure. Examples of my adventures:

• I took an USAF hop to Hawaii for 10 days.
• I flew to Anchorage Alaska from LAX for a long weekend while my friend was living there

Next weekend I am driving from New York to Kennebunkport, Maine. Maine is state #50 for me!
