Biography
As an Indiana born native living just across the border into Michigan, I have a decently central location in the United States to be able to travel to most of the states within a decent time frame. I visited my first state outside of Indiana when I was only 3 weeks old, and that was to Kentucky to fly to Seattle, Washington, which is one of my favorite cities in the United States. I am now nearing my 18th birthday and have been to 46 of the states, excluding Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, and New Mexico. I am aspiring to get the last four before I go off to college in the fall of 2021. I have also counted how many states I have visited more than once, 28. How many states I have eaten Chick Fil A in, 11 (my favorite and the one I’m most proud of is North Dakota). How many states I have been to with someone not related to me, 15. How many states I have driven in, 21 (and I’ve only had my license for almost two years). The most states I have visted in one day, 6. One month, 16. One year, 28. Along with how many states I have spent a week or more in, 16. Another interesting travel fact about me, the longest I have stayed in one state without leaving is only 50 days. I have counted how many cities I have been to in the United States that have over 100,000 people (not metros, just city limits) and that number is 64. I love to travel, and I love to inspire people to travel as well. I want everyone else to realize that there is a whole different world than just your hometown, and you do not even have to leave your country to experience it. My motto that I always have and always will live by, there is only so much a textbook can teach you, sometimes you just have to go and experience it for yourself.
